In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and with an eye to innovation and foundational growth, we, the City of Sioux Falls, the Sioux Falls Development Foundation, the Greater Sioux Falls Chamber of Commerce, and Experience Sioux Falls, all supported by Forward Sioux Falls, have developed Spark Sioux Falls to spearhead the development of a recovery plan for the Sioux Falls region. We will refocus, rebuild and re-energize our economy by anticipating challenges, identifying solutions and creating opportunities. The One Sioux Falls framework will help guide the plan.

Spark Sioux Falls will engage business owners and managers, employees, subject matter experts, civic leaders, economic development professionals and citizens to share insights, identify challenges, and build actionable strategies to restore the local economy in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic by collaboratively working to address specific industry and sector issues and craft solutions that can assist businesses in Sioux Falls and in the surrounding counties from the current economic downturn.

Spark Sioux Falls will identify best practices and responses with proven success; solutions for known challenges; and future opportunities across multiple economic sectors to develop a blueprint for restoring local business operations and building economic resiliency in the wake of COVID-19.
