Employers and students are invited to participate in a really “big” event — the South Dakota BIG Job Fair. The 20th Annual BIG (Business Industry and Government) Job Fair will be held Thursday, Feb. 25, 2010 at the Sioux Falls Convention Center from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Last year, 1,000 candidates had a chance to meet dozens of employers to explore current and future opportunities for full time/part time careers and/or internships.
Students and graduates from colleges and technical institutions in a five-state region are invited to attend. Many employers consider the South Dakota BIG Job Fair one of the best recruiting tools they use each year to identify outstanding interns and employees.
Employers and job candidates can register online at www.getgrads.com (click on South Dakota BIG Job Fair). More than 75 companies and organizations have already registered for the 2010 BIG Job Fair and registration will continue for the next few weeks.
The South Dakota BIG Job Fair is sponsored by South Dakota Association of College Career Centers (SDACCC), along with support from Forward Sioux Falls and others interested in the marketing and placement of the area’s graduates.
