Summit League basketball tournament returns
to Sioux Falls in March
The 2010 Summit League Basketball Tournament, presented by the Sioux Falls Sports Authority, will be played at the Sioux Falls Arena March 6-9.
The tournament features the top eight men’s and top eight women’s teams playing in a single-elimination format. Both winners will receive an automatic bid to the NCAA Division I Basketball Tournament, which will also be held in March.
Summit League tournament session tickets are on sale at the Sioux Falls Arena box office (605-367-7288) or through www.ticketmaster.com. Reserved tickets for all sessions are $90 and general admission tickets for all sessions are $75. Single session tickets are also on sale.
Teams competing for the Summit League Championship and the bid to the “big dance” are Centenary, IUPUFW, IUPUI, UMKC, North Dakota State University, Oakland, Oral Roberts, South Dakota State University, Southern Utah and Western Illinois.
