Vote: Be informed and use your voice The 15th Amendment to the Constitution, passed 140 years ago, guarantees the right to vote regardless of race, color or previous condition of servitude. In 1920, the 19th Amendment was added to extend that right to all, stating no citizen should be denied that right because of that citizen’s sex.

Chamber provides tools for business Nobody appreciates spring quite like we do in the upper Midwest, so whoever decided to make February only 28 days was one smart cookie to my way of thinking. As we happily turn the calendar to March, there are a number of items to report on.
I would be remiss if I didn’t begin by thanking the men and women, both in the public and private sector, who have done yeoman’s work this winter with snow removal. While this has been a budget-buster of a snow season, it has also been a huge task for those responsible for keeping the streets, sidewalks and parking lots clear.
