Attend open house to learn how to sell to government agencies
The Sioux Falls Procurement Committee will host its annual Selling to the Government Open House on Thursday, March 18 at the Morningside Community Center (2400 S. Bahnson Ave.) from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. The event offers an opportunity to talk to buyers from local, state and federal government agencies and meet one-on-one with buyers to learn what products agencies buy; how to get products or services considered; and what paperwork needs to be completed to become a government vendor.
Representatives will be on hand to assist with Central Contractor Registrations (CCR), HUBZone determinations, VetBiz registrations, and GSA Federal Supply Schedules. Representatives from the following agencies are scheduled to participate: Department of Veterans Affairs, South Dakota Air National Guard, City of Sioux Falls, State of South Dakota, U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development, Ellsworth Air Force Base, U.S. Geological Survey-EROS, Bureau of Indian Affairs and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
The event is open the public and offered in an “open house” format at no charge. For more information, call the South Dakota Procurement & Technical Assistance Center at (605) 367-5252, the Small Business Administration at (605) 330-4243 or the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce at (605) 373-2002.
