Chamber volunteers seek new members during drive

The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce will market its programs and services, and focus on membership benefits during its annual Spring Membership Drive that runs through May 8. More than 85 volunteers, led by the Chamber's Ambassador Committee, will identify future members, make contacts and sell the benefits of Chamber membership.
The Chamber recognizes that benefits of membership are essential to the growth and success of the business climate in Sioux Falls. Under the theme, "The Price is Right," volunteers will focus on the necessity of Chamber membership for any group or individual and encourage them to "come on down" and join the Chamber of Commerce. Whether a new business or organization or an established business, the goal is to share with them that "the price is right."
Businesses throughout the area will be contacted to emphasize the importance of being a Chamber member. The Ambassador Committee wishes to add 75 new businesses and organizations to its membership during the two-week event.Â
From the marketing and networking opportunities, to being informed on issues as a business owner in the community, Chamber membership is a benefit to all in Sioux Falls and the surrounding communities. If you know of a business or organization that could benefit from Chamber membership, contact Amy M. Farr via email or at 336-1620. |
