Ready to Rebound conference to assist businesses in new economy

The Sioux Falls Business Journal and Augustana College are co-hosting a business conference to arm businesses with information. The "Ready to Rebound" Sioux Falls Business Conference will be held Wednesday, June 3 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on the Augustana College campus.

This is hands-on conference will focus on providing strategies for independent businesses to position themselves for a successful rebound once the economy improves. Breakout sessions will include panel discussions with local business experts in the following fields: marketing, real estate, finance, human resources and technology and the web.

The conference also will provide businesses the opportunity to network with other business people during a tough economic period.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Robert E. Wright, an associate professor in the Department of Economics at New York University's Stern School of Business. He is the author or co-author of 10 books, including "One Nation Under Debt: Hamilton, Jefferson, and the History of What We Owe."
