Events Center a vote for progress Registered voters in Sioux Falls will have the opportunity to decide if the City of Sioux Falls will move forward in building a new Events Center.
The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is in support of the project and encourages a yes vote to improve the quality of life and enhance economic development opportunities for the area.
The Nov. 8 election will advise the Sioux Falls City Council as to whether the public supports the project. The Council has adopted a resolution stating it will not proceed with the project if a majority of voters don't approve it. The Council also previously selected the current Sioux Falls Convention Center/Arena site as the location to build the proposed Events Center.
