The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is one of several organizations across South Dakota that is opposed to Initiated Measure 10, which would prohibit elected officials, candidates or government employees from giving tax money to organizations that lobby or engage in political campaigns. South Dakotans will vote on this issue Tuesday, Nov. 4.
The Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is part of a coalition that is actively lobbying against IM 10. An advertising campaign against the measure is currently running and speakers are available to talk to service clubs and organizations about why this proposed law should not be enacted.
