Banking on a bright future: Rozenboom leads Chamber in 2009-10
While natives of Iowa, Dave Rozenboom and his wife, Tammy, set their sites on a job opportunity in South Dakota after graduating from college. Although they had employment offers near each of their home towns, their rationale was that "if we don't leave home now, there's a good chance we never will."...
"Moving to Sioux Falls was a great opportunity to take that next step in my career and be closer to our families at the same time," Rozenboom said.
"Once we relocated here, I recognized that the Chamber of Commerce plays such a significant role in enhancing the quality of life in Sioux Falls and the surrounding area and I saw how willing everyone was to pitch in," he said. "When we decided we wanted to live here, I knew I was responsible to do my part."

Sioux Falls' success: A shared responsibility
It's no secret that Sioux Falls and our surrounding area is one of the very best regions in the country. Year in and year out, in good times and in challenging times, Sioux Falls stands tall. We are consistently recognized at the national level in any number of areas, and the past year has been no exception.
A recent example, in its 11th annual ranking of the Best Places for Business and Careers, Forbes ranked 400 metro areas (large and small) on 11 criteria, including: job growth, cost of living, income growth, labor supply, quality of life information, educational attainment and two new categories — projected job growth and subprime mortgages. For an amazing seventh year in a row, Sioux Falls ranked No. 1 out of the 200 small metro areas examined!
