Chamber to sponsor
healthcare reform luncheon July 14

The 2010 healthcare reform bill will impact businesses profoundly and the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a luncheon on Wednesday, July 14 to inform Chamber members about the federal legislation.

The luncheon is sponsored by the Chamber's Issues Management Council. The cost is $15 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members, which includes lunch. It will be held from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Starlite Room at the Holiday Inn City Centre. RSVP to Sara Weber at sweber@siouxfalls.com or 605.373.2006.

The program includes an overview by Chamber Board Member Cindy Morrison, Vice-President of Public Policy for Sanford Health, as well as a panel discussion by local experts. Chamber Issues Management Council Chair Mark Willadsen, Farmers Insurance Group/Willadsen Agency, will serve as the panel's moderator. Panelists include: Lisa Carlson, Director of Planning and Regulation, Sanford Health Plan; Jacqueline Cole, Compliance/Quality/Privacy Office, Dakotacare; Janet Griffin, Vice-President, Public Policy, Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield; Randy Moses, Assistant Director, South Dakota Division of Insurance; and Debra Muller, Chief Administrative Officer, Avera Health.
